Our History

started in March 2015 as a small orientation center, Offering consultancy services on Public finance Management and the promotion of Local Governance. By mid-2016, the center became a focal point of assistance to councils and decentralized structures on matters of Local Governance and Participatory Development. On the 13th of March 2017, the center was officailly approved by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational (MINNEFOP), as a professional training center with the name KELDEN BILINGUAL INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES (KBIPS)

The Excellent results from the center from 2015 to 2018 is proudly part of the reason why December 3, 2018 the Ministry of Higher Education MENESUP, raised the to a higher institute: KELDEN BILLINGUAL HIGHER INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES (KEBHIPS), with 34 departments for both HND and BTS.

On the 2nd of December 2020 Kelden Bilingual Higher Institte of Education and Training Practitioners, an Institute based in the United Kingdom. In line with this the Director of KEBHIPS was appointed the Country Director for the Institute, whose primary aim is to promote professional educational exachange with renowned universities in the United kingdom, USA, Canada, etc through scholarships for both students and teachers.

In January 2021 KEBHIPS signed a Memorandum of understanding with the University of Bamenda, thereby becoming a University Institute under the University of Bamenda. This Memorandum gave Kelden Institute the authorisation to offer professional Bachellors and Masters under the University of Bamenda, with the offical second name of KELDEN BILINGUAL UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE.

In a bit to give our students variety, other partnerships have equally been signed with University of Douala, University of Windsor-Canada, University of Edinburgh-UK and Western Colorado University-US.

Today Kelden Bilingual Higher Institute of Professional Studies Yaounde proudly stands out as one of the emerging Institute of Higher Learning with
