In abit to motivate and promote academic excellence, both within and beyond his institution, the Director of Kelden Bilingual Higher Institute of Professional Studies Yaounde informs the public in general and KEBHIPS students in particular, that he has decided to put in place an academic excellence award called The Director’s Award. This will be implemented as from the next academic year (2021-2022). This award to be given to the 3 best students from every department and cycle, shall have a primary objective to recognise and honour students with outstanding academic performances. The ceremony for the selection and award shall be organised by the School Academic Board at the end of every semester after the publication of results. The winners of this initiative shall receive
A) For the best semester results: academic scholarship/excellence award;
B). The best annual results: academic scholarship and certificate of excellence;
C) the most outstanding HND £ BTS results: academic scholarship for DEGREE;
D) The best professional Degree results: academic scholarship for MASTERS., Criteria for Qualifications
a) Grade Point Average: Eligible students are to earn a grade point average of 80/100 scale or 3/4 scale;
b) School Criteria. While the primary indicator remains academic excellence, the Academic Board may also consider qualities that have a direct or indirect influence on excellence such as discipline, leadership qualities, school attendance, moral virtures,etc
